Sunshine Quilt

This quilt has become my King Kong. My Moby Dick. My Mt. Everest. My Sears Tower (As an adopted Chicagoan it will always be the Sears Tower to me). Basically, it's the most ginormous quilt I've ever made. This king sized quilt is loosely based on an Amy Butler quilt pattern. I started collecting fabrics for it in May and now that September is coming to a close, so is this project. Phew! I think it will be a while before I tackle another quilt of its magnitude.

Front.

Scrappy kept jumping on the quilt during the photo shoot.

Back.

She's going to be sad to see it go.

  2. He started off last year at 6'4", but hit a growth spurt this spring and now towers over me at 9'2". Family photos are so awkward now. Sheesh.
