"Tandem" (Oil, 2'x 4') will be displayed in the most recent exhibit at the Columbia Art League. The show is titled Tall Stories to pay homage to the True/False film festival going on this weekend. The reception is tomorrow, but my painting will be up until April 17th. So go see it!
ps. it's hard to see this, but there is actually an abstract city made of cut paper underneath all of that white paint. The idea is to play down the color and saturation of hue to showcase subtle texture.

Suze, I would have never thought to play down the saturation of hue. All this time I have been playing the saturation of hue up. Talk about embarassing.
